A new report shows that there has been a trend in a buy-to-let investors opting for a new property investment strategy that entails investing in better quality opportunities, in a bid to maximise returns and to avoid taking on repair work.

Not only does this avoid the need for lengthy and expensive renovations, it can also result in higher yields in most areas of the country,” said Peter Dockar, head of mortgages at HSBC commented.
